ATR space-savers don't fit over standard ATR front brakes. It's thought to be a deliberate safety ploy to get you to put the thing on the back.

as you should with a fwd car the front wheels do all the work the rear wheels just hold the car up on the majority of fwd cars

Makes sense when you're a designer sat in your air conditioned office in Tokyo. It's a drokking ball ache you could do without if you're stuck by the side of a dual carriageway with no hard shoulder, in the cold and dark with it pissing down!
