To be fair to the first listing;
fefelarue wrote: this is the first alternator I bought that didnt fit:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251724684058? ... EBIDX%3AIT
That lists the following engines;

Linked Vehicles
Description Model Year Body Style kW HP cc
HONDA - PRELUDE Mk III (BA) - 2.0 EX (BA4) 04.87 - 01.92 Coupe 80 109 1958
HONDA - PRELUDE Mk III (BA) - 2.0 (BA4) 08.87 - 01.92 Coupe 84 114 1958

The B20A7 isn't one of those shown (has 150bhp)
Then this is the one that did fit but had the wrong plug:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251690158238? ... EBIDX%3AIT
The second listing does include the B20A7 though...

Having removed pre/post-facelift, I wonder if the difference is B20A7 (injection) versus non-injection? B20A7's could be ODB0, carb B20A's might be something completely different????

Yeah you're right about the first one, but as it was so cheap, I was hoping i might be able to bodge it on and save some dollar.

And yep, the second one confused me haha. It definitely says the 150bhp variation of the engine, which was only ever injection wasn't it?

Top work from Curd Bros in Tunbridge Wells - highly recommended!

They seem to have replaced everything except the casing, which they've stripped back to nice shiny metal and it all looks friggin sweet :)

Looks good 8-) They're not too far from me, I'm tempted to get the alternator off of my Accord rebuilt there now! there's nothing better than fresh, shiny parts :lol:

Crucially, how much did it cost?
