This ^ Given it's called a 'VTI' I'm going to assume the DVLA have been having fun with imports again and you'll need a 26.5cm long cat?

What are you planning on doing? UK and JDM CATs are difference lengths and have a slightly different stud orientation.

oh really? thanks didnt realise there was a difference in the studs, it needs to mate to a UK spec downpipe but cat back will be custom. So I guess I'll be needing a UK spec one then

The difference is only a mm or two and can be overcome.

No, as you say, in that instance it doesn't actually matter then!

The JDM cat is shorter than a UDKM. The studs that attach to the downpipe are slightly different too, but this can be overcome by drilling them out a bit (see pics below of a JDM cat lined up to UKDM downpipe)

Great - thanks for all the top info and the pictures. Looks like I can easily work with either cat then :D .....just need to find one

Was just going to go for a standard cat for now but if anyone happens to have a 'performance' /high flow cat I might also be interested (not a cat replacement pipe though)

thanks
