Looking to buy 5g 2.2 motegi
Hi guys,
I decided to join the prelude club and I am after a 5 gen 2.2 motegi, ideally a red top. If anyone is selling one or knows who does, pm or email me. Thanks.

Welcome to LG!!
The only red tops that I can see on Autotrader/Pistonheads/Gumtree :
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-moto ... to-content
The UK 99+ are pretty rare now.

Thanks everyone, didnt expect such support
I test drove one 2.2 prelude earlier, do your cars stall in first gear if not revving up to 2k? It felt a bit odd.. My wife has a 2.0l beetle and it goes fine from standing, no need to rev at all, almost like diesel.
Originally i though maybe cause I am used to diesels, but its still odd, having in mind it has nearly 200ag.

No - not unless you just dump the clutch! (Or unless it has a mega racing clutch and mega light flywheel?)ju5ta5 wrote:I test drove one 2.2 prelude earlier, do your cars stall in first gear if not revving up to 2k
Where are you? There may be another forum member nearby that will take you out in theirs, so you know what to expect (good or bad!

I am from dunstable, bedfordshire.. if anyone is around I could come around to have a look.
prob something is not right then with the clutch or gear box. Seller said it also drinks some oil, question if its still acceptable or not.. but no seller will tell the full story until you buy and see it for yourself.
