I'm pretty sure it's line to hose pipe area. On a proper inspection I can rule out the cooler

You can replace any of the rubber hoses with rubber fuel pipe and clips, if any of the steel pipes have rotten, you can replace with copper pipe or even rubber hose at a pinch. None of the hoses are under any great pressure.

If the cooler has gone you can replace with a copper, steel or ally pipe, or even just loop it.

This ^^

Sounds like yours have gone at the same place as mine did, metal pipe just behind the rad where the rubber right angle hose that connects to the cooler fits over it?

As a temporary fix (6 months ago  ) I just cut off the old rubber hose and cut the metal pipe somewhere easy to get at and replaced with a longer section of petrol hose.

I posted pics somewhere. Haven't got time to look them up, but probably in my UKDM profile thread (near the end of it)
