Post by Gummikalsi1 » Wed Nov 25, 2015 7:40 pm

Hi folks. New to this forum. Wondering if anyone has a 5th gen 22.2 vti alternator for sale, or if a 4th gen or other honda one will do the job. Based in dundee scotland however willing to cover postage obviously. Thanks in advance

Welcome. 4th gen alternator wouldn't work for you, due to different OBD era, I believe.

I have this for UK spec cars.

Basically brand new. Was installed on my car and worked fine until i took it off 20miles later for a JDM alternator.

You can use the other type of alternator, would just need to modify the wiring slightly.
I'll post up the (generic) schematic later in the alternator thread, to show the difference.
