To start restoration
Hi All,
I have a UK 1995 2.2 that has been recently acquired. Small ruston arches and sills to be dealt with last.
Things to do sooner.
Address shock knock. Does anyone have the collars for sale?
4WS Alignment - Locking pin requested by pm to Mart609
O/S Windows switch panel. It has a crack in it. Mine has left and right window control and a "Main" switch
Centre switch part of mirror adjuster - I have had to use a pen lid to be able to switch between mirrors. Although they are set right and I don't need adjustment, the white switch is visible.
Sunroof Panel - Mega rusty and stretch the the seal. Operation of motor and action still good. Just need a new sunroof piece and seal minus the rust. Colour ideally Pacific Blue but ultimately can be sprayed when I am attending to rust so doesn't matter if not same colour.
Good quality floor mats front and rear that are tailored
I have looked on ebay for most of this already and struggled with availabilty/quality so just checking on here if anyone has any of this to sell.
Many Thanks

That's normal for UKDM spec ludes. jdm ludes have the same with the benefit of an extra switch for the central locking (which I've never understood, given the lock lever itself is right there anyway!). There are however 2 different patterns on the plastic on this part (the 'texture') so you'll need to watch for that. A photo of your existing one would help, to answer which you have on yours. Pending the texture, I may be able to help here.mrahman136 wrote:O/S Windows switch panel. It has a crack in it. Mine has left and right window control and a "Main" switch
I probably have one of these. I'll check. Note these are also different between jdm and UKDM models (jdm have extra switches for the electric folding funtion)Centre switch part of mirror adjuster - I have had to use a pen lid to be able to switch between mirrors. I probably have a set of jdm Oem mats I could sell. I will need a few weeks to track that down though - can't remember what belongs in a car and what is 'spare'!Good quality floor mats front and rear that are tailored

Ah ok, it's that style of texture... I may well have a spare of that type. I will recheck this weekend.
I checked stock of the mirror switches at the weekend and found 3, but all the jdm folding kind. They will fit and work perfectly, but you will have an extra button on the control that does nothing, so up to you. I could sort pics this weekend.

I did wonder that myself. Didn't recommend it though cause I have no experience doing it and wasn't sure if the slider knob is a different size (slider travel is shorter to allow space for the folding button)...
Doesn't mean it wouldn't work though!

@mrahman136I have the correct facelift ukdm mirror switch in good condition.
Im unlikely to ever need it as both my ludes are JDM. so you can have it if you cover postage cost
its has part number 0116K printed on white label on back of switch if you want to double check.

No worries.

I can tell from that, the slider switch 'knob' is different on the jdm one (smaller, to fit into the smaller length it has to travel) so swapping the knob wouldn't work.
EDIT:
Generic internet pic comparing the 2, here;

@wurlycorner, thank you for taking the time to check.
I have discovered a leak now, not looking like engine oil, possible manual gearbox oil? Its very minor and will keep an eye on it
