Oil filter housing for 5th Gen 97 Prelude

Post by Talisker » Fri Apr 20, 2018 11:38 pm

In desperate need of an oil filter housing as my car can’t go on leaking oil all over my exhaust!
Does anyone know where i can get one, or anyone breaking a 5th gen?
Have tried many online parts places but with no success.
Are there any other cars, Honda or otherwise, that have the identical part that i can look for?
Please help!

The housings faulty? Are you sure it's not the little rubber seal that sits between it and the engine? Its a common fault and about a fiver from Honda.

Got one of you need one, can pop it in the post today if your desperate.

It's unlikely to be the heat exchanger as mentioned. It's similar to the one on a b16a2 but never compared side by side.

This ^^^
Check the profile page for my black bb4 (linked in my signature below) and there's a guide in there to replacing the oil filter.

Did this get resolved - still got a brand new seal if needed (widely available, although took over a week to arive from htune - bit quicker from lings).
