Rear ABS Sensor Wanted - Help
Hi chaps,
I need the rear right ABS sensor for my 4g. The 2.0 and 2.2 are the same.
Has anyone got one knocking around I could buy off them?

Think I might. I know one of the rear ones was knackered but the other was fine. I'll check it out for you.

Re: Rear ABS Sensor Wanted - Help
I just found out u can test the resistance to ensure u have a worker or not.
Fronts 700~1100 Ω
Rears 1000~1600 Ω
U can also swap over the brackets so any rear sensor will work for u. I've dont it. It helps when sourcing the part...

This is true (I've done it - swap the brackets off your old broken sensor onto the new one). I didn't expect it to last long tbh, because you're reversing the cable bends (asking cable to bend the complete opposite way to how it has done for 20 years) but so far so good.
Be careful when you bend the tabs on the bracket back to free the cable, so you don't pinch the cable and break it internally and then make sure the cable recess is properly cleaned out of any dirt/rust high spots before putting the cable back in, for the same reason.
The clamps also need to be swapped and they need to moved along the cable slighty (they're not in exactly the same place for some reason).
