Went to this event. I know the "organiser", he's not good at putting big meets together. There's big complaints etc about the event. Funny to read up on.
Are there prelude owners in the Surrey area other than me?! :)

What were the complaints?? I want to read about it.. :geek: :geek:

I'm always a bit sceptical about going to a big meets for all different cars, they normally end up bot being good. :? Oh for drokk sake, I don't even go to any meets at all.

Too many cars and jams on nearby roads. Some of the drivers hooning about a bit. Police shut it down to reduce likelihood of disturbances of the peace ...

Apparently, 1700 cars turned up. The organisers, Secret Cruises, had earlier posted that there was parking space for 2,500 but ...

I and friends got in no problem before major traffic hit. But once getting into the car park turns out parking was on gravel with no lights at all. So no showing off the detailing on cars!!
Plus terrible rain.
Then the usual people getting to into it and excited.. Doing burn outs and revving. So got shut down an hour into opening.
"Secret cruises" are quite known in the area to not organise events too well. So there was a lot to be said about the night. A lot of things were fabricated too about money and how many people turned up.
Obviously nice to set up car meets.. Just the number of cars wasn't handled well. Shame.
