That sounds like a good event ruined to me. Far to many rules and the added costs are a joke.

Read the Dr Kong rules if your car is selected.

Minimum fuel, drip tray, disconnected battery. Not allowed to move car.....

No thanks.

No civics will reflect off my paintwork.

It does seem a little overkill doesn't it. Especially for an event that began in a service station car park.

But it did outgrow the service station car park quite quickly, they are trying to turn it into a really smart event I think.
It might seem a bit overkill but I expect it's just the demands of the landlords of the premises.

W1ggz is right I think.
I liked the trade element at the last Mimms (at North Weald) that was good.
I could be up for this.
The initial ticket price is a bit steep I agree, but for the club stand it only works out an extra £3 per person, which isn't much tbh?

Yes it could work and it's a nice chance to get to see each other again (well nice chance for me as I didn't attend any other shows  )

Except you won't come to this one either!

BTW, I meant to message earlier  I've ended up working from home today instead so there's no 7am-7pm restriction

Don't get me wrong I'm not against this event as a whole, I guess you guys are probably right about the strict rules of the new venue. I also wouldn't lose any sleep over an extra £3 on the price of a ticket but I just don't see how a club stand should be stung an extra £30 for what is in effect just a section of a shopping centre car park. Especially after already forking out for a ticket.
