I dont think many scottish members will drive that far imho. Could we not find a show that was a little more in the middle of the nation as a whole? Northampton is not a cheap drive for me and Im only across a bit. I dread to think what it might cost in fuel from Fife or Glasgow. or north wales for that matter.

Not giving any suggestions, just throwing in a spanner

well up for it though.

If I start planning now  TBH, I've spent the last year trying to get my flat to a place where I can get the sodding thing on the house market, and that process has (hopefully) completed today (as least in terms of stuff I have to do) so 2014 should be a time of more funds, and more free time...

I'm provisionally in!

Just checked, 6 hours and 371 miles :o

:? Just saying, like - In reference to finding a closer show to Scotland for Scottish members to travel to

The point in Gayno's OP really, is that this is the biggest and longest show (at 4 days) which is what we're suggesting makes it the only one that's realistically worthwhile scots travelling to.

We can share a pair of long Johns if it gets cold at night lemon. Has this sealed the deal?

It dropped to 4 degrees on Saturday night, if the Scots were there they'd be out in their sunglasses and t-shirts!!

As Wurlycorner said, asking the Scottish members to drive 300 odd miles for a one night show (I know indigolemon did for Japshow in 2011) is a bit much. However offer a 4 day party and it doesn't make it too bad.

That and it's closer to Scotland than LLL's national meet, which is only 2 nights.
