3 cars suffered..........
A mile after leaving the circuit, one of the bolts fell out of my caliper. Exactly the same thing which happened leaving Japfest 2 years ago. If it had happened on track, what could've happened doesn't even bare thinking about.
I managed to limp upto LLL's where we found a spare bolt, mucho kudos to him.

The one that goes through the knuckle assembly and bolts into the carrier.
It did this 2 years ago when leaving Japfest, so when I replaced them they were done up "hammer tight". I then removed them yesterday for cleaning and painting, but failed to do them hammer tight, forgetting what happened previously. The car promptly reminded me about it

Another great show, cheers for arranging it again Adam.
Yes as you've heard there was a few mishaps at the end. Had a great time catching up with people, wondering the show, seeing the top gear trio filming, watching some track action and even taking the Mazda 6 out on track chasing Nitin down!
As soon as we came back from the track I was sitting in my car waiting to pull into the stand space and the club banner and its metal framework flew into the air and smashed into the side of my car.
Most of the marks will polish out, but there is a quite a bad creased dent in my drivers door which is gonna cost a few £'s to fix. Very annoying, but there was nothing I or anyone else could do. Maybe it was god telling me to get that Mazda crap off a Honda stand!
Then literally 5 minutes later Nitin pulled up, popped his bonnet and it too caught the wind and came off the prop all the way back to the windscreen. Luckily the screen was unscathed, but the corners as he says now need work they didn't need before. Bum deal bud - I guess if you're thinking of spraying that carbon bonnet it won't be too bad to fix.
Then Adam calls with his infamous disappearing caliper bolt trick again!
I've literally never heard of anyone losing this bolt but Adam has no managed it twice! Like you say I'm glad it happened after your track time.
Look forward to the next one as always and thanks to Ratty for making me realise I need to finish my lude up, he's put in some work recently to get his charger working and its simply awesome!
