Bludge wrote:Well the main problem is where it sits under the boot lid. it sits fine under the lights and lines up along the sides of the car and the arches as you can see on the pictures, but what you cant see is under the bootlid where it would secure, it about half an inch or so gap. looking closer at @H22A Lude's photo, it looks like he has some sort of adaptor attached? the black bar along the top?
That black bar is the factory rear bumper mount (well it looks like that on the JDM ludes at least). Its 4 bolts that hold it to the chassy. I chose to remove that bracket and then to rivet the custom frame to the bracket. Made for a sturdy bumper!

Actually, these may help you out (had to go way back to trace these- 2010.lol):

Ah i see what you have done there. mine doesnt fit right at all then. its sits flush against the raised bit under the lights, but where it lowers down under the bootlid its too high. gonna need to make an adaptor for it. the fit all round is pretty terrible, im guessing its a cheap knock off.

So i finally got myself aligned properly and the car is a joy to drive again, still knocking from the rear but aside from that my love for my little deathtrap is flooding back!

A bit of a drive and a proper bargain netted me this bonnet, which i got fitted today!
Its sitting nicely but i need to sort out the bonnet pins. they dont line up with any existing holes so im guessing i will have to drill new ones unless anyone can suggest a work around?

Fit on that carbon bonnet looks pretty good. Yep, sounds like you'll need to drill new holes for the pins.
At least you don't have to go attacking the bonnet to fit the aerocatches though!

Yeah the fit is ok, but on the passenger side it lifts a little along the wing, a little warped i think but for 40 notes i cant complain!
