It didn't pass the MOT. It failed on loose toe arm bolts.
I know what has happened, on the BB4 when reoving the Megan toe arms, I took the toe arm bolt out and the rear adjustment washer stayed in place on the subframe. The bolts are only threaded part way down, so when I tightened them up on the BA8, hitting the bottom of the tread, there wasn't the rear washer to pinch everything tight. If I can't find the adjustment washer at the warehouse, I have a full spare bolt/washer set. MOT will be redone next week.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Bummer to fail on one thing like that, but at least you know about the issue now (on what could otherwise turn into quite a major issue while driving!)
This is the kind of reason MOT's are there

The car passed it's MOT fine after I fitted new toe arm bolts and adjustment washers.
We are doing up our house at the moment so have lots of spare old carpet, so put some down in the garage under the Lude. Luckily I don't have any oil leaks

I want to adjust the camber on the front and HardRace top arms before taking it to get the wheel alignment done.
At the moment I have a Works Bell steering boss installed, it's just the regular length one so it is a bit long to work with a quick release. I bought the NRG 110H short boss to go with my BG quick release.
