Re: Col's White BB4
That's a lot to take in, looks a lovely car tho and once you have all those gauges adjusted/removed/dulled down lol will be smart
Re: Col's White BB4
Thanks for the extra info mate, the guy I got it off of must of put in a standard ecu as when I opened it up there was no sign of a socket like the one rob sends out with his chips (I have seen his thread). All I got was a padded envelope with a chip in that had a v2 p13 spoon label on it. I am not even going to bother with that one now I shall just purchase a new one, I shall also try to find the pictures I took when I took the ecu out.honda-hardy wrote:this was owned by amoroso on here. it should have robs chip fitted in the ecu, as it was my works tech/engineering lab that soldered the chip holder to the board so it could except robs or the standard chip.
this car came with us to japfest in 2012 and it has my old integra dc2 lip from my old 4th gen fitted and the diadem indicator bulbs with de-yoke indicator lenses fitted too.
Wouldn't be too bad if I was into a bit of hardcore! Not quite the same when you are plodding along blasting out some Meat LoafJEBB4 wrote:Jesus!
I can see how that may get quite destracting, I have to always turn the dash lights down on my BB4 when driving at night as they are so bright, I bet its like being in a rave in that!

Indeed it did mateAsh.Z wrote:Welcome to the forum. Did this car come from Honiton?

Re: Col's White BB4
I have got used to it, although I can't help but get annoyed by the flashing air/fuel mixture gauge, I just need to make it all a little less in your face. An idea I have is to relocate them into the actual dash screen, and then wire it somehow to a second dash dimmer switch to control the brightness. If that fails then they will just be taken out and shoved in my WRX, people seem to love gauges in imprezas.wurlycorner wrote:That dash is certainly properly err... distracting
Will be good extra selling points!

It's an aftermarket double din dvd player, bluetooth, tv receiver, reversing camera jobby... No idea how to use all of its functions beyond a cd player/radio thoughsproggy29 wrote:is that an original part of aftermarket? looks the nutz
