after taking off most parts that I needed my poor 89 prelude had to be rushed away as my family required more space on the driveway... unfortunately this caused me to forget that I may need some of these parts in the future. oh well live and learn I guess:

there was still a few things that needed to be done and with my donor car gone I decided to stop crying about it and get this prelude going. there was a few little bits I wanted to tidy as they were bugging me ever so slightly.
I had to re-glue the door card fabric and cover the speaker plastic as it looked so tatty, I bought some black tights and cut them to size so that the door card speaker plastics wouldn't look so unsightly.

another annoying item about the car was the worn chrome coloured plastic surround (why!!!!), this had to go....or at least change so I painted the surround and refurbished my boot badges.

and for good measure I got myself a shiny new head unit. don't get me wrong I loved the retro cassette but I needed music!

the next stage was to sort out the rusty (and very loud) exhaust that the previous owner WELDED together! he also made the back box hanger mount out of studding and cable tied it to the underside of the car......

wheels were tired so I attempted to refurbish them myself....the first wheel I may have cocked up just a little but after hours of rectifying my mistake I finally got the end result.

whilst at a show in battlesbridge I found some leather dye and balm to seal it with. this allowed me to refresh my interior.
