First I'm seeing of this car on here, such a stunning car, I think it's my new favourite 4g :scaredtoss:

Also I think I have seen this car in person about 3-4 years ago before I even knew anything about preludes..

Did it used to belong to a guy from Telford area??

I remember it coming to my old work (Nigel Pugh Engineering in Newtown, Mid Wales.) for its first MOT after it had the engine built, the guy was still running it in and my brother did the MOT on it ;).
Also the guy was friends with who I bought my BB4 off (Dave Shaw) and he always brought his cars there so I suspect he sent him our way..

I'm pretty certain it was this car because it definitely had the JUN coloured rocker, sparco's and was the shinyest red is ever seen

BEA.....utiful!!!

I now see that it was owned by
@Darf which is the user that Dave Shaw told me to search for when I tried to track this car down a few months ago when I remember about it coming to work......
:o I couldn't find anything on it then

Yup, its Daves old car. And im proud to own it.. a pure testament to Daves work.

May have an update soon as ive gone and bought a new clutch for the car as the oem one is struggling with the torque.

Glad you like the car JEBB4 :)

Hi JEBB4! Yep that was me. Aah I remember that day well, the drive to Newtown for its first MOT after the engine build. Nigel's garage was the only place I trusted with my cars - enough to drive 35 miles for its MOT. Which gave me a good opportunity to start the running in :D

New Clutch and a few Pics From Hondafest Trip

Post by Dino » Tue May 24, 2016 5:13 pm

Well, I went and bought a new ACT Clutch with Heavy duty pressure plate as the current exeddy organic clutch didnt have the biting pressure to deal with the torque and slipped when undertaking hard gear changes.

Thanks to STK Prelude we both had the engine out of the car and fitted the new clutch.

and gave her a drink of the good stuff. I would have used Amsoil MTF but is no longer available in the UK.

while the engine was out also went and fitted a new ADL blueprint fuel filter.

Then I drove all the way to Holland to bed the clutch in and gave her a clean:
