So last week @Drax organised a little get together and drive up to north wales on some amazing road's, being the first time ive met anyone off the forum I was looking forward to seeing other fellow lude owners cars and showing mine.

Yesterday morning, after a late night on the beer I was feeling surprisingly well and got up quite early, took the lude up the shed give her a quick wash and tidy up inside..
All seemed well under the bonnet, checked my levels, topped up the oil and set off to meet my friend in Welshpool..
we wer bang on time and once out of town we started having a bit of fun and with his car being a B18c4 converted ej9 civic he was giving me a good run, and then my engine light came on!!

She started missing and farting so I switched her off and back on whilst on the move tge light went off but still wouldn't rev out..
we then came to a road block as a bridge was being strengthened, as we stopped I could smell fuel badly so I hoppd out and checked underneath to find the was fuel pouring from my engine!

I opened the bonnet to find fuel everywhere, I soon noticed that the 3 nuts holding my feil rail down had rattled loose, and with one missing and two barely a few turns on I didnt stand much of a chance with no tools...

I did meet the guys in Llanfyllin where I borrowed a 10mm spanner and nut off @Bri (thank you very much for that!) but to no prevail as when I tightened it down the seal on number 4 injector wasnt seated right and leaked just as much, and then the new nut rounded as I tried to take it apart to seat it correctly

so I left it and went as passenger in my mates civic..

When I got back I headed down in the dark to try sort it but alas, the seal was damaged so it was left for the night..
priced up new injector top seals...... £5 each

hopefully go down tonight and either try the seals ive managed to find at work or my boss will trailer it back for me but ether way, WHAT A BALL ACHE!

gutted the lude didn't make it

good to meet you though bud! hopefully you'll make the JDM North meet in a few weeks
