I do agree. The front end looks so clean without them. Really smooth lines.alinton wrote:Your car looks stunning mate.
But you know what, in my opinion, spoils the look at the front?
The bloody number plate. Such a pity we have to have them on the front. I bet your Alfa mate thinks so too - the Alfa fronts are even more spoilt by number plates.
Couldn't you get away with a smaller one? I fitted a smaller one centrally on mine, it's held on with heavy duty Velcro, and I have a full size plate in the boot ready to be swapped if any grief ensues.
Last month my car went in for MOT (well, here it's called NCT and its stricter than the UK MOT) so I put the full size plate on. The car failed on headlight alignment, and when I went back for the retest I forgot to remove the smaller plate.
No one noticed and it passed!
Cheers pal. Now I can trust that site, there's a few other bits I will want to get.mercutio wrote:well done buddy

Haha I just checked, but it was Nafeman's. Will let it slide....mercutio wrote:cant remember
You think? Here, you have to have the county of registration printed at the top of the plate, in Irish! Even though the two central letters designate the county.prahunt wrote:alinton wrote:
And haha, I think you'd have to have a really strict tester to fail on a smaller plate.
