Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude - SLS rounds 2 & 3
The updated tables are out now and I think it will be difficult to pull the season back as I have had two bad rounds, at best I might be able to scrape 3rd in the championship At least 2 of the remaining 3 rounds are in reverse direction where I seem to be more competitive.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude - SLS rounds 2 & 3
I am more annoyed with the spin TBH Although my qualifying was better in round 3 Vs round 1 so unless something catastrophic happens round 1 will be my dropped round.

Super Lap Scotland 2016 Round 4
Super Lap Scotland 2016 Round 4
Direction - Normal
Conditions - Warm
There is something up with the engine loom on the car. In practice my session was heavily impacted by an intermittent electrical fault that caused the car to misfire so I finished 5th. In qualifying the car was better so I manged to improve my time by 0.9s but still planed 5th. In the final where I know I am more competitive I ballsed up a crucial gear change and ended up 5th
No vids as I forgot that I didn't have the camera set up properly

SLS 2016 Rounds 5
Super Lap Scotland 2016 Round 5
Direction - Normal
Conditions - Warm
Sunday's racing was much better and I felt like I was putting in some good laps despite placing in 4th in practice & qualifying. In the final I felt like I nailed it, and I did, driving my best ever lap of Knockhill. I was only 0.5s slower than what I was last year despite being 60-70bhp lower. I missed the podium by 0.1s and missed out on 2nd place by 0.2s, that is how close it was.

Speed trap from the final
Its interesting to see me up near the top of the speed trap for my class. I think it was that I was carrying more speed through the corners.
Not the result I hoped for but the weekend allowed me to get up the leader board a bit, rising from 7th to 5th in the season standings.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude - SLS rounds 4 & 5
There seems to be a loose connection in the bit of the loom near the injectors/IACV. The engine misfires and when you wiggle that bit of loom it stops. I have another old loom that is partially hacked up so I am going to replace only one part of the loom that is on the car. Saves the ballache of removing the whole engine loom.
