Fills and pin holes, goes on like smooth glass and is beautiful to sand before primer.
But good so far.
Liking the look of this Lucas, always wanted a smoothed bay but id never have the patience to do it.

Hey Lucas,
Nice to see you getting stuck back in to the lude. Impressive lengths to go to for a make shift garage.
It's not an easy option to take, alot of work in a shaved and tucked engine bay. Have tinkered on the edge whether to do it too. I opted out for a clean and wiring tidy/slight strip out. Your a brave man! Will be worth it when it's donw though.

Yep, well impressive work. + rep to your mate for getting stuck in so much!!!
Glad to see you bolted and strengthened that gazebo down, I was gonna say I had that exact one set up in the garden behind my cars and when I was taking it down, I'd removed the sides (rest still pegged and guy roped down) and a gust of wind lifted the top half clean off, flipped over the hedge and upside down onto my cars on the drive!
(I was not amused...)
This kind of work is definitely on my long term 'to do' list for the JDM (when the engine comes out for a build - n/a 'cause although I love turbo's, I already own 6 turbo cars
). That definitely won't be this year!

Re: Akahana - lucas' 4th gen (UPDATE page 2)
thanks iain
yea man the tent has nearly blew away a few times but i managed to catch it in time
its solid now so unless there is extreamly high winds i have no worries
anyway, ive been out again tonight doing a wee bit on the engine bay
i decided to attack the strut tower panels at the side
all i can say is... god damn spot welds !!!

im going to sand it all down tomorrow and then get some filler on it all
its already pissin me off to be fair but when its finished it will be lovely
oh and i had Tsuki in with me today and found her a bed to use
