Paint correction & protection

So its been 3 months since i resprayed it so its not time to seal the paint with wax as all solvents will have evapourated by now. But the paintwork needs alot of correction from wetsanding and compounding.
So 2 days booked off to do this.

In 30degree heat.

So the process is
- BH Autowash
- BH Clay
- BH Autowash again
- 3M Perfect it fast cut plus on the yellow waffle foam doing the zenith point polishing technique to remove swirls and defects. This will take 3hours plus.
- BH Cleaners polish inc all shut lines
- BH Finis Wax inc all shut lines and 2 layers
- Plastx scratches on the wind deflectors
- VRP dressall on the interior and Gliptone leather care.

After a wash and clay

Not too bad lacquer finish i must say.

The result of a low car and the councils Clubbing Eddy attempts at resurfacing the roads using just grit. I shall respray this again later this year.

Unfortunately 3 stage pearl paint cant really be touched up well as the pearl layer makes the touch in too blue so i just stuck to white diamond base. Bit better.

White paint doesnt show swirl marks very well and wont photo at all but iv removed about 95% of the swirls at this point.

The next day it was really hot so i erected the marquee for cover. Glad i did. It hit 33degrees C in my village.

This is after the Cleaner polish. Cleaner polish can be used as a LSP but wax is better ontop.

And waxed. Of course white never shows reflections well.
