Lol
I guess no one product works for everyone and everytime...

Yes - deffo wet cloth to wipe AFTER applying the H2GO.
No point in trying to buff - it will be like superglue!
Sorry - i should have mentioned the wet cloth before :(

Don't know enough about how eManage works, but if the car is now back to standard (except for exhaust) then you could just remove the greddy ecu I'd have thought and that would put it back to standard???
Ratty's yer man for understanding what's been done and what it means etc.

Did you get any pics of what they did when it was installed?

Hi Iain, no pics I'm afraid as I had to drop it off about 30 or so clicks from here. You know, you make a fair point. Why not just take it out and leave it stock.
It's not like I'm racing the damn thing.
Question: Does that mean I'll have less poke, less acceleration etc? (or put it another way. If I go back to the bog standard ECU thing, will I actually notice? )
Thanks Iain.

Update. @wurlycorner.Since reading your last post Iain, I called Jason, quoted your words verbatim and he actually agrees given the fact that all the stupid extras I fitted caused more harm than good and they're all off now anyway.
He's thinks you're spot on with the direction so it looks like we'll take it out (Good God, the amount of money in parts I've got laying in my office now!).
He's out of town this week but he's back over the weekend so we can take it out probably Monday.

Not sure why the emanage is in the in the 1st place. It's a piggy back ecu and your obd1 so its counter productive.

Just remove it and let your stock ecu breath.

@Ratty McClelland. Good morning young man. That sir, is the kind of defining advice I was hoping for.
That's it, Monday it's out and on t'pile of other useless gubbins I was foolish enough to buy last year. Thanks to you all for the consistent and valuable advice. :D

Well today some good news. We've fitted a new servo ( I think that's the fourth in 12 months) and finally the brakes work. Before I start the car the pedal is firm and there's no creep or jumping on the pedal at low speed. They're much firmer and certainly loads more 'grippy' giving me a ton of confidence on the road. Whoo hoo, result! :10:
When the old one came off, Jason noticed that the round rubber seal inside the old servo was rather manky so perhaps it was leaking air (in or out, I don't know which) but anyway, it's job done finally on those flamin' brakes.

T'other issue is the bloody orange light.
We took off the Greddy box yesterday, Jason cleaned the O2 sensor and still, after a couple of minutes driving the light came back on.
He's done a lot of digging around and today he's going to fit a borrowed EGR valve as it's another avenue we've got to try. I know we're clutching at straws but do any of you think the EGR is something that may be causing it?

I should add that now we've removed the Greddy box, the petrol smell has gone, the engine idle is great and to be frank, I can't feel any difference performance wise so I'm much, much happier about it. Looks like there's going to be a Simonc clearout sale soon as I've got so many bloody bits that have been stripped off they're actually becoming an eyesore in my office. Jason's said he'll put the word out so perhaps I can recoup a bit on the outlay.

Hi @Wayne2014, hope you're well buddy. Certainly do enjoy the brakes now. You see, that's always the issue. Everything here you have to pester people time after bloody time to firstly get them to listen and then to get them to do something. Gordon Bennett, it's so bloody frustrating.
Anyway, the brakes are done but now it's that flamin' light that we need to work on. Like I mentioned, our next act of desperation is this EGR thing that may be wonky on my car and is the possible cause of the problem. I tell you Wayne, I just hope it is because after that, we're all out of ideas.
Hope all's well in sunny Yorkshire my friend. Have some fish 'n' chips sent over will ya? :D
