Re: BB4 ATR Clutch and Flywheel arrive + few other bits
Its a decade since my last clutch change and the old one has been groaning and slipping for the last couple of years - ive learned to live with it but finally decided to bite the4 bullet and get a new one fitted.
So ive gone for the OEM ATR clutch kit which offers a slight upgrade in clamping force (think about 10-15% more) and is cheaper than the prelude clutch. @Merlin has let me have the old ATR Flywheel that was in his shed - it getting a reskim soon and ive got some new bolts for the flywheel. Cost was £220 for everything including the skim and new gearbox oil (im sticking with amsoil)

Ive also got some new Titanium exhaust wrap to help lower under bonnet head from the Tri-Y manifold. You dont have to wet this to fit it and it can be removed at reused as many times as needed.
Might be a good thing as im going to try and get the mani wrapped whilst its on the car

And i bought these alloys and refurbed them - just need to get two new tyres fitted (nearly new Kumho Sports@£12 each)
These are 15" alloys and willbe running 195.55 tyres on them. They will do for any track outings or fast runs - out of town and away from speed bumps due to clearnace issues. Im curious to see what difference they make to the gearing and acceleration of the lude compare to the 205.50.16's that ive always run. Im not a fan a big wheels on the lude as i think it spoils the handling of the car. Ive tried 18"'s before and wasnt impressed. Loads of grip but less precise at the apex.

So plenty of stuff to get on the car.
