its been heavy rain and stormy weather most of this week and i havent driven the BB1 since last weekend.
Went back to it today and found water in the thrid level brake light, water in the passenger footwell and water in the boot.
Although its not a massive amount of water it is enough to give me some concern.
All i can find is the rear sunroof drain tubes are a bit loose where they push into the grommet/teat thing takes the water out through the body panel. I cleared them again&trimmed the teat bit so it doesnt clog and ive siliconed the drain tubes in and fastened them with a cable tie. With regards to water in the passenger footwell i found the scuff plate was missing one clip and sitting up slightly, now the clip is fitted it sits tighter to the bodywork so less likely to let water push in underneath it.
Ive decided i dont like cars with sunroofs
and i will have to have a look at the front windscreen again but its a mystery as to how the water gets into the high level brake light when the car is just sitting thee not being driven
i dont give up easy but dealing with this is quite depressing - i might need to find some help in pinpointing where the water is coming in

Personally I've never noticed any difference running Lisa's lude or my bb4 on super/normal unleaded. May see a little bit on the dyno, but no difference in real world normal driving, ime.
Hang onto that 4 plug tcs ecu - you or I might need it one day!

Ive kept the original ecu as it works fine.
I fitted the ecu that has been chipped - but fairly sure it more a chip for economy rather than performance like the spoon chip - thats why im filling up with unleaded as i think thats what it will be tuned to run.Massive saving of 10p per litre over shell v power
