Thanks, like I say there are actually a few bits that need going over again. That will happen as soon as I can.Drax wrote:god that respray job looks soooOOO nice - i wish mine was that clean![]()

Re: wurlycorner's UKDM 4th gen
lol well sort of. This car had some stupid tart drive down the entire drivers side a few years ago. Damage wasn't massive, but every panel (literally from the very front corner front of the front bumper, to the very rear of the rear bumper) was scraped, so although no panels needing replacing, the respray costs wrote it off.Donald wrote:I'm sure I read this on PUK... didn't you have quite a run of bad luck?
Nevertheless, it looks awesome now.
It was my other lude (black JDM) that had worse luck. That's the one where the paint didn't go off on the first respray, so it had to be re-done and then when I was reversing it out of the body shop, I managed to bend the wing, scrape the bonnet and smash the windscreen, so it went straight back in and cost me a packet to sort!

Cheers Bri. That's what happens when you fall in love with these things I guess!Bri wrote:Wow epic amounts of work money and effort gone into this. I hope to delve into as much detail on mine, Looking fantastic! well done bud, well deserved rep.

Not much of an update really, just to say that this one has decided to let me know it doesn't like being ignored, by having a little wee when it was up to temperature today...

Another job for the list on this before this one's back on the road then

Yeah. Last time I fell in love with a 19 year old it was the same. A lot of money. A lot of time. A lot of trouble. But a lot of funwurlycorner wrote:....Not too shabby for a 19 year old...

Looking good. Hope the radiator wee (or whatever) is an easy fix.

Re: wurlycorner's UKDM 4th gen

The coolant leak's from the heater hose where it goes onto the side of the thermostat housing I think.
And that'll be because there's an oil leak from the vtec solenoid (or the blanking plug) above.
And this will be the second time I've replaced this hose, because I never got round to fixing the oil leak.

So the moral of the story???
Don't ignore 19 year olds that are into watersports!
