Re: Ratty's Type S - Positive Displacement pumped
Stock o2 is in place so oem ecu can work as normal, wideband o2 so u greddy can see that.
Might be my Type S cams loosing my boost since the duration is longer.
When I say they lean out I mean I'm Still on throttle but almost off it. Just enough to maintain speed downhill or an a flat road. Going on a slight incline to maintain speed they come back to 14.7

I have both o2 sensors still installed, with an additional port welded on for a wideband that is directly wired to the EMU.
Using a custom catalytic converter - as long as I allow the car to warm up for a few minutes, everything is perfectly fine. If I don't let it warm up, I get a cel for catalytic converter inefficiency (200 cel cat)
Throttle play is very important when keeping it out of the lean zone. That's why I just go into neutral.

Re: Ratty's Type S - Positive Displacement pumped
JDMs only have one o2 sensor. But I may end up putting a resistor in the o2 sensor so the stock ecu sees perfect all the time and let the greddy take over.
I let the car warm up now as it's a pig to drive until warm.
Cuts I need piggy back to keep Atts on the Type S. Removing the stock ecu will disable Atts because the Atts ecu is connected to the engine ecu.

I have always wondered why it's not possible to still get the ATTS ECU to work with another ECU - surely it must still only be a matter of matching the correct signals that the ATTS ECU needs?RattyMcClelland wrote:Removing the stock ecu will disable Atts because the Atts ecu is connected to the engine ecu.
Or is there part of the main ECU that actually also does some of the ATTS controlling then?
