Re: W1ggz BB4 Soon to be rust free
Well this has been a really hard decision and my hearts actually pounding writing this but it's the end of the road for this car.
The quotes I've had for the respray were all around the £3000 mark due to the rust the windscreen being the most expensive part of it.
So I've decided I'm gonna have to break her, the other reason behind this is I really want to get my track car up to spec as I'm really considering the Honda Vtec Challenge maybe next year if I can get it done in time.
I'll put up a breaking thread tonight, if there's anything you know you want feel free to pm me, I'm only planning on keeping the engine as I know its strong and had the belts done recently. It's a sad day and I do feel guilty about it but if I want a proper track car I'll need a van and can't have 2 ludes a trailer and a van and only 1 car for the mrs.

There's a hole which I filled with fibreglass but it's bubbling all the way down the pillar

Oh. That's a bit worse than mine was then...
You got access to a mig welder at one of the garages? Teach yourself welding and repair that bit yourself ready for paint? The A pillar isn't as complex to fab up repair sections for as the arches I would say.
