The resonator box is right underneath the airbox. Basically behind the bumper.

Bummer there on the intake idea Ratty, but if you get where you want it at the end, trying and failing at something on the way doesn't matter!

Competition Clutches Stage 4 6puk paddle clutch

Well 15hours late its in.

Epically tedious job on a Type S. Im the guys worked faster it could be done in 12hours maybe.

Hardest part was moving the ATTS system out of the way and trying to undo the tranny bolts that attach to the block.

Anyway it all went smoothly as can be

Brand new OEM clutch bearing
Brand new OEM Main oil seal

You can see the ATTS system resting on the stands.

Resident transmission guard dog

Idea was to wrap the exhaust also. But despite having 65ft of exhaust wrap it wasnt enough. I used 20ft on this part alone.
Not the neatest of jobs but its a difficult item to wrap.

Used Thermotec graphite wrap.

Will wrap the main header at a later date.

I used SJW Auto Tunning and repairs in Market Harborough. Its my Brother in laws business. Decent guys and very decent prices.

Clutch feels fantastic. Heavier than OEM but still lighter than some new fiestas i have driven.
The clutch is eaier on or off and IMO its easier to drive now. No slip and very direct.
