Compression test results

Post by si import » Thu Jan 28, 2016 7:26 pm

During my last track day at Bedford autodrome had an issue with the lude . When starting it to get back out on track it didn't sound right turning over and took a little longer than normal. It sounded low on compression . Carried on with the day but each time I started it it was the same. I've since done a compression test and results as follows . Cylinder 1 115psi , cylinder 2 195psi, cylinder 3 115psi, cylinder 4 190psi . So not good results on 1 and 3 . Im going to check the timing and valve clearances but thinking this engine will soon be removed and rebuilt .
