Here is the only Optrix overlay I got of you on the day. It is from the morning where you were still learning the track and trying some new things out. I am going to get an external microphone as the sounds quality in this clip inst that good.

turned out to be a problem with the spoon vtec controller - flat spot and slow pick up became worse after the trackday so knowing i also had an over fuelling issue i thought it might be connected to the vtec controller or it clashing with the spoon v2 chip in the ecu so i took both of them out and stuck a standard ecu back in and after a few miles the car has come back to life and im enjoying the vtec step of the standard ecu - car feels a lot sharper so im satisfied ive sorted it out. When i took the vtec controller out i noticed one of the connectors to it wasnt properly seated so thats most likely what it is. I can always stick the chipped ecu back in at some point. just wish id done this before the trackday :)

That track looks rough as hell!! ...is it my eyes playing tricks on me or is the track all rutted, potholed and smashed up in that Optrix overlay video?

The 'lude looks great in those pics too Nick :)

cheers Adam :)
track was fairly smooth - it was icy when we turned up in the morning - then it thawed and then rained on and off so probably just damp patches on the tarmac
they said there would be a levy charged for any damage to the grass so priority was to stay on the track at all costs - most managed it but there was a few spinners later in the day.

well i havent posted any updates for a while.
should say the overfuelling and overheating was due to the timing being out a massive amount - managed to get it set within a couple of degrees of where it should be with help from the usual suspects and an old timing gun.
also fitted new platinum ngk plugs and got the winter wheels slapped on.
so things were looking good and i was considering some body work in the near future - looks like i may ned to go to the bodyshop a bit sooner than expected.
Got up this morning and found some dancer had reveresed into the front bumper of the lude and nearly clean snapped it in two....no note and its nothing new - people in Edinburgh are the worst drivers and most inconsiderate in the country i rekon

I might be better getting a new bumper rather than fixing this one again...

Oh man :( what a shitter.

I'm sure that would be fixable though? Hope so anyway, 'cause that bumper looks great on your car :D
