So here's a couple of shots of her now.
Looking a bit worse for wear but still runs like new
Just clocked 106k whitch isnt a lot so im thinking there is a lot of life left in her.
You can see the extent of the wheel arch rust in this one. Iv got the equipment to sort t out some time in the next few months tho.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Re: Andy's 4th Gen. The long journey begins.... Badly
Just a quick update as i haven't been on here in a while.
Since my last post over a year ago its been a long struggle with car but i am happy to say... she's still on the road!!
Managed to get it through the MoT last month, only having to change front arms and tightening the handbrake cable which i thought was pretty impressive for a car of its age that gets a lot of use.
Sadly the car has been vandalized on 3 occasions (Keyed rear quarter and had both wing mirrors smashed to smithereens). I have to leave the car on a busy street away from my home atm. It has also been pranged on both corners of the front bumper.
This year, having sorted almost all of the cars mechanical issues, i am going to spend some time and money making the outside look as it once was and am exited at the prospect.
I will get some pics up of the car in its current state soon.
Atleast its still going tho.

brilliant news getting it thru the MoT
these cars are so much better made than modern stuff
i park my lude(s) on street and they do get a lot of knocks - i think the low front end seems to catch out a lot of people parking up next to it - both bumpers get hit all the time and the car also attracts a bit of unwanted attention from idiot passers by - so i feel your pain

MoT this Saturday. Only done 2000 miles in the ol' gal this year so i'm keeping my fingers crossed there wont be much wrong.
I am going to tackle some of the body work issues as long as there isnt too many faults at the MoT.
I will post pictures of my progress, as and when.
Hope everyone is good!
