£50 for a repair is cheap though!
Normally I'd say that's probably not good if it's gone like that on the inner sill (outer sills are common, but inner less so???) but... I can see in that second pic that there's a hole in the bung in the arch, so it will have been getting water pissing in there which would explain it having gone in that location and should mean that hopefully it isn't cancer spread along from the rest of it

Other than the massive hole in the sill it only failed on a low beam pattern on the headlight, handbrake efficiency and my rear fog switch doesn't doesn't illuminate when its switched on.
MOT tester said, considering the cars over 21yrs old other than that bit of rot its in good shape
