In the mean time rich @ paw said he had some ideas on making the throttle body work much better. I'll let him experiment.

Looking at potential oil pump failure. Before people ask...It's a new genuine h22a7 pump.

We will see when rich investigates.

Not said anything yet because I can't be sure what's happened but a few miles after driving away from PAW things started.
Strange noise, vibration at 2-3krpm that got worse.
Oil temps went high on the motorway home and stalling all the time.
Next day oil temps went off the roof after a couple of miles and the engine started sounding more and more like a boxer engine and got rougher and rougher. No power.
Oil light kept coming on despite my pressure gauge saying I had pressure.
Crank pulley is moving about 1mm too.

I drove her 80 miles in total. :lol:

Let's just say I think rich is more gutted than I was.

But we will see what's his investigations lead too.
