Check your multimeter against someone else's car while that's running, to make sure it shows 14+v. I never managed to try meter on another motor but the alternator I fitted today was a known good working one which was reading 14.7v when it was fitted to my mates car before he removed it I even made sure the belts were a little tighter on this one but still same readings like I said I've taken off the earthing cables from the battery and the rocker cover/engine mount to clean up but is there anymore I can remove and clean??wurlycorner wrote:Did you try;

Still no change in voltage with cleaning up all earthing points properly

I have a full donor car that has 2 wheel steer so I'm gonna rob the rear subframe so I can the 2ws conversion on my bb1 but could somebody tell me everything that I need to remove from donor car and is there anything I can use from my car
