Quality car mate really enjoyed my short time in it. The handling and acceleration was immense. I need to start reading through what you have done to get your 236bhp and find some coilovers and tyres and and and and ........ Lol the list keeps growing

Nice pics Pete. Car is going really well. Good luck redoing your exhaust. I have serious concerns about mine now, I'll have to test it once its all fitted and then think about adding some inline silencers. What's your plan with yours?

Mart: You can buy handheld Decibel meters on ebay for about £20 - an investment if you plan to do a lot of track days.

Yeah just use the iphone apps, I checked it against the one at castle combe and its bang on really.

Plans with the exhaust are to remove that 4 3/4 massive can and fit a j's racing style 3' tip and see how much difference that's made and go from there. I'll probably call jetex exhaust and see what size they recommend to get in the limit.

It would be nice to have a quieter car, anywhere I go I've got to wear ear plugs lol
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

I don't get it why would track days have noise limit. That's the only place you would go to break speed limits etc etc. :? I'm sure there is a good explanation.

Oh right, I'll check out the apps, any you'd recommend Pete? How far from the exhaust do they put the tester and what revs? Been so long since I went on track.

About 1-2 feet from the car and you have to hold it at 4500 rpm

Same reason Brands can only use their international circuit 3 times a year and are stuck on the indy circuit for the rest!
