Did you support the underneath of the engine before removing and refitting that engine mount?

Then I used a high temp lacquer just because the mount is pretty near the manifold

Be interesting to see how the lacquer fares - they come sometimes yellow with age/heat?

hopefully it holds it was more just to tidy it up I guess it was the drokked mount I was more concerned about as it was completely split

thats a really good job done filling these mounts - looks like done by a pro 8-)
not easy to work with that poly gunk :lol:

i rekon these are as good as expensive aftermarket ones ;)

thanks dude yeah it's a better job than my front mount and you won't see this one haha just need to get surface rust off the metal and give it a coat of black paint, I'm impressed myself how well it's been done too lol and it's a bit of a stiffer ride with just the front mount done God knows how much the car is gonna vibrate when I fit this one

Its quite easy to do this what you need is some cling film to put over it once you have filled it then you can smooth it out with your fingers

i was thinking of that but I just wet my finger and smoothed it off
