yep its a BB1 with no abs so its the proportioning valve or brake splitter valve as its sometimes called - its sits mid way down somewhere underneath the fuel filter on the passenger side of the engine bay. I didnt think much could go wrong with this part :? Its a honda oem only part either that or you will need to get one from a breaker.

Cracking looking lude you have there :)

Thanks vanzep. We're off to a good breaker guy over the weekend so hopefully we can dig one up there.

good luck you will need to find a BB1 or BB4 with no abs - if you cant find one where you are then post up a wanted ad here and someone may be able to get one for you. There have been a couple for sale as folk who want to delete their abs need this valve to go non abs ;) Expect to pay around the £40 mark as they are a pain to get at and remove.

New interior door handles, Speedo now Lit and new part for the brakes.

Hi all from Malaysia, last Sunday we finally got round to fixing the unlit speedo needle. Thank you Pushki for your ghetto fix which you told about ages ago. It worked like a charm so many, many thanks.
Also, just after my hit and run, I opened the passenger door and SNAP, the bloody handle broke! Now, perhaps I shouldn't admit this but I was convinced they were metal. , (OK, I'm a dimwit)
My trusty spannerman sourced a pair which was a bonus as the driver's handle was a matt finish so now I've got a snazzy new chrome pair.
Also, he found that the brake fluid distributor thing ( sorry, I can't remember exactly what it's called) is leaking so off he trudged and got me a second hand one in good nick. There's a photo of it below so you'll see what I'm talking about.
Anyway, must apologise but Linda had the camera on Sunday so no WIP shots. The finished work is captured in these shots I've added.
That's all for now folks - will update again when we're fitting the brake fluid distributor thing.
Regards
Simon.

@vanzep - apologies. You mentioned it above - the brake proportioning valve.

You did well finding a pair of chrome door handles, they're not the most common of things :D

Hi dark rican, yes mate, I'm really p******d off about it. Trouble is that I've been running round like the proverbial since I got back from Blighty so haven't had the time to go to the bodyshop yet. Just hate the look of that front wing.
Hi Iain, I'd heard they were a bit tricky but good old Azhar pulled another blinder getting them. They're in damn good nick but anally retentive simonc will be applying a good dollop of Autosol this weekend to get them ultra-sparkling.
