Horn & Indicators
Just a small update:
However, first of all for @wurlycorner,
The cover is 4 layers... The underside looks very similar to the outside, but is far softer and therefore more gentle on the paint. It is however essential that you wash your car before fitting the cover, so that no dirt gets trapped and therefore damaging the paintwork.
So everytime I drive the car, it gets washed now
However, the car only gets driven once every two weeks on the weeknd, in the dry
Lights:
Ive managed to purchase myself a set of clear front indicators and a set of light smoked side repeaters.
I fitted the side repeaters and straight away give a cleaner look down the side of the car.
However, I still wanted to get rid of the orange front indicators.
I bought a light smoke tinting film for car lights and set about cutting, heating, stretching and attaching the film to the clear indicators I had purchased.
However, after completing the film and trying to fit the front lenses, I found that the lenses would not fit at all. I nearly looked at cutting my front bumper to get them to fit. I'm glad i didnt.
After doing a back to back with the lenses I'd removed, I found that they were different sizes and there was no way these were going to fit.

I dont know what car they are from, but i'm thinking possibly 5th gen lenses?
In the mean time. Ive decided to go and buy a new set of pre-smoked lenses..so I'm just waiting for these to arrive and get them fitted.
Horn
One thing that always get me about Hondas are their horns.... They sound like a moped and if you have to TOOT someone, then they either:
a) cant hear the horn or
b) are looking around for the guy in a Citroen 2CV
Ive heard a few different horns and wanted a beefier sound and my horn of choice was that from a Seat Leon.
It is a two tone horn.
So I went off and ordered a pair of them new (420Hz & 510Hz horns)

So getting to work, the switchover of the old system to the new system didnt take too long.
Here is the old set-up:

and with the new horns fitted:

The noise difference is awesome, and now I dont have horn envy any more
Sound Before (Honda Horns):

Sound afterwards (Seat Leon Horns):

I'll get the pictures up with the new lights very soon.

You and your horn Dino...
I can just picture you standing by the side of the road with a 'honk if you think I'm horny' sign, just so you can check out which one turned you on the most, before buying to fit to the lude.

(BTW, you know that horn you replaced isn't the original anyway, right?

Thanks for the pic of the cover. It is different to the stormforce then, which doesn't have the additional inside lining.
