Looks very smart - makes sense not lowering it if it has to cope with that kind of terrain on a daily basis! :D

That's the least of the dodgy farm tracks I have to go up ... in fact, that one was positively marvellous. I just had to open and close a couple of sheep gates - the surface was pretty even.

Most farm tracks involve getting one wheel onto the centre bit and one on the verge to avoid the tractor-tyre ruts or ginormous potholes. Lowering is completely out of the question.

Only thing with this car is it isn't very anonymous or quiet, particularly up here in rural Aberdeenshire, so not really one for covertly trying to catch folk doing naughty environmental-type stuff (which is part of my job).

Don't think so - will be in Glasgow at a gig the night before, may take a bit of recovering before I'm fit to drive on the Sunday!

Still, it's vaguely on the way home ish, so I might just ...

I had half a dozen 5G (popup lights) Celicas before this car, and every one ended up with white 5-spokers. Love 'em.

The Celicas were a bit easier, cos their 7th Gen has 5-spokes as standard and the same wheel fitment for 5-6-7 Gen cars. Buggers for corroding, but properly refinished they last for years. This is at least the 4th set of wheels I've had on this car over the last 7 years (e.g. see avatar) :)
