Easy enough to do - a time delay relay that keeps the window module powered up for, say, 1 min after ign goes off.

Or even cleverer keeps it powered up until the windows have been raised!

All do-able. Now you've got me thinking!

Um, I'm not sure it should - I retrofitted them to my UK car and I can hit the retract button and turn the car off, they still go all the way in. Iffy relay or some such?

EDIT: Unless it's different between 4th and 5th??

Mirrors continue to close after you've hit the 'retract' button, even if you switch off the ignition half way through. can't recall about the windows... Might have to try that today to refresh my menu :D

Well it stopped raining for more than a nanosecond here today for the first time in about 3 years, so I decided to replace the interior (after my recent flooding and subsequent interior removal and drying, and shot nerves while I waited to see if the engine was damaged).

It all went back in quite easily, and I now finally have front fogs, since I bought a facelift centre console off Ebay which came complete with the missing button.

I'd installed the fogs a couple of months ago but didn't know if they worked as had no button!

So, despite the car sitting in 2 feet of water, it all runs lovely now and can be taken out for spins over Christmas in the pi$$ing rain and gales.

Joy.

Merry Crimbo!

There is other way do deal with this. Search for "Auto Window Roll Up Closer Module Car Alarm for 4 Doors". The cheapest one is now for £6.58+free P&P from China. I have used two chanels for windows and one for sunroof (but I wired this through switch so I can leave open sunroof if I want). It closing windows in sequence, and once started you can't stop it. Also have safety future which will stop the motor if window was blocked, stuck or your kid put hand through. I used locking signal from central locking and it works perfectly for last 2yrs. Also car looks younger. And people faces when on click of the button all locks by itself.
