"My First 'Lude"

Post by 11891952 » Sat Aug 23, 2014 5:34 pm

Just thought I'd post a couple of pic of the new toy. It needs a bit of love, but hopefully that will happen slowly and surely. :D

On the plus side, the interior isn't too bad...

Thanks guys. Yeah, I don't think it's too bad, sunroof has a couple of rust patches on the trailing edge, one on the a pillar too but other than that looks solid. :D As far as mods go it's got an eBay induction kit fitted, which at some point I'll need to fit properly, and at least the back box is stainless and quite loud, particularly with vtec :twisted:

Nice looking car.
Interior looks nice and clean (rivalling mine there ;) )
Whats the exhuast on it? Looks like a big tail pipe on it.
Look forward to seeing this in person. Get some more pics up soon please pal
Whats your job list? Many plans?

Thanks again.
Yeah the interior is very tidy considering the age.
Not sure about the exhaust, haven't fully investigated yet, it might be a Japspeed, or knock-off of. Either way it was a little loud for my tastes so it's got the baffle in it for the time being.
As far as jobs, there are a few so in no particular order;
Seal rear window trim to stop leak into boot
Investigate PAS fluid cooler leak
Finish sorting key
Investigate getting the bodywork then paint sorted
Get rear speakers that fit without fouling the boot lid torsion beam
And I'm sure there'll be more added as I go on ;)
