Yes, block is still standard. I will monitor how it holds up at 0.7 and when I get bored with it, it will be rebuilt with forged internals.

I cannot tell you the price for exhaust publicly since my buddy likes to keep it "to each customer its own", but it is more than rest of the car's worth. I dont intend to sell it ever, just make it better and exhaust is better to be done right once than more times slugishly

Regarding tablet, that is the part I've done myself. It has custom bracket which holds it in place, cnc machined bezel so only its screen is visible, custom rom also made by me (turns on/off with ignition, datalogs engine stats the whole time and pairs it with gps, wifi hotspot when on, gestures instead of buttons etc.).

This is looking very nice.
Love the difference the Motegi kit makes. A lot meaner looking.

Also that exhaust 8-)

Wow! What a stunner. Nice to see someone actually turbo the F20 block. Great result from it so far. 8)

Cheers,

Thanks guys. I started to fiddle with it a year ago, and bit by bit i came to a conclusion that F20 most certainly wasn't developed by Honda :)

First suspects were pretty bad power per liter for a Honda engine that is not as ancient as older B series.

Then, when service was due, and I only do OEM or quality aftermarket parts I couldn't get a hold of OEM timing belt and was offered Mitsubishi 4g63 timing belt which is supposedly the same so i said ok and tried it. They indeed are the same.

That got my attention, checked other specs for 4g63:
Bore and stroke: 88x85, same as F20
Redline near the same
N/A power output? Nearly the same
Compression ratio slightly differs, so this is when a spare engine got opened and cross checked internals with an opened 4g63.
Crank, rods and pistons are also the same. Wrist pins has to be 21mm though so it can be interchangeable with mitsu parts (DSM engines)
So what else is left? Header? Spot on the same bolt pattern. Did not check intake manifold pattern since I already got an H23 manifold I am emotionaly attached to as my first performance upgrade :D. I also like IAB sound switch, so there is that.
Also, OEM iron cast sleeves was a giveaway. It can pretty much hold as much pressure as stock MAP sensor can detect and don't break a sweat.

Then I found a guy in Germany that actually did the exact same thing as I was planning, but he fitted older EVO log header with corresponding turbo.
Did not like that, I wanted twinscroll so i bought a new Mitsu OEM turbo and said drokk it, lets do everything custom so it can hold power once it gets forged and I don't have to do everything twice.

Great thing around here is that you can make your N/A to turbo conversion legal, you just have to keep power in decent limits until you get your certificates so that is what I am doing now. Power was actually downgraded for now so it can easily pass inspections (tuned for low octane (95) and ignition is retarded) and I was very suprised with the gain on stock engine and lowest possible boost. It is 102 BHP more currently.

 my last post didn't really do justice to what I meant

Serious bit of kit, well done and interesting info about the Mitsubishi link :?

What tablet have you used and who did the software for it? Really like that mod!

It is Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8" LTE. I did the software, since that is what I do for living, durrrr :D.
Basically everything is done with help of an app called Tasker. It can hook up to OS events like detecting charging (ignition) and then execute whatever script you wish.

First post contains an older tablet I used, that was Tab1 7".
