So new update, took top layer of lacquer off and looks better already, going to buy some 1000 grit paper and lacquer spray, hopefully do it on weekend







My new wheels came today, so happy about them, just need to sort out one of the tyres or valve

Ok, well I'll be beginning the break on Thursday.. If you want the shifter and cables, I can save them for you. No idea what they're worth, so make me an offer. The gearbox, having an LSD, is going to be more expensive than the non-LSD ones - again, I havben't thought of a price, so if you're interested, let me know.

So over the last few days me and a friend have been working on the bonnet. We used 600 grit wet and dry paper by hand to get the top layer of lacquer off, we then used 1000 grit paper using a machine, my mate who is also a mechanic and used to be a sprayer, sprayed the bonnet with lacquer while I was at work, I was amazed the next time I saw it.and here are the pics

So so happy with it, he said he's gotta do one more thing, told me I can't wash it till he's used some flattener then Polish???
