Re: Josh's BB4 - Rear end shunt/body work time

Post by jjmartin349571 » Wed Mar 09, 2016 9:40 am

As some of you may have seen, my Prelude was in an accident a few days ago. Whilst Laura was driving in traffic somebody drove into the back of her, leaving us with this:

The other driver has accepted fault, and after swapping all the necessary details he has arranged to cover the bill for repairing the damage caused to our car :) I've dropped off my car at the body shop this morning, so hopefully it should be back with me in the next few days looking like it used to!

I'm getting an estimate for it, but I've had to spend a fair bit on other cars this month and so I'm not 100% sure I'm going to be able to commit to having it done before next pay day :? If not done now it'll definitely be done in the near future, I want to get this car completely straight and give it a full service as I've been putting it off for far too long. Then once that's done I'll lock it away in the barn and never let it outdoors again

I've recently put my bb4 into garage mode, more so to keep the km's off it but as what happened your better half, it's too much risk for some numskull to take it out with their replaceable vehicle.
Glad it's fixed, hope the work is up to scratch too ;)

It's all he has worked on for the last 2 days apparently. I'm not going to pretend like I know how long it should have taken  Body work is a mystery to me.
