Cyber Predator Prelude
Hi All,
I bought this '94 Prelude with a Cyber Predator Kit fitted - some may have seen this before, the previous owner was on here and it was on the front of Revs magazine...17 years ago
I've created pages on facebook and instagram if anyone is interested on following - @predatorprelude
Anyway, started stripping it down over the last week or so, I'm going to try and get a day a week on it but it'll depend on how much work I've got going on so we'll ahve to see.
Plans, new wheels - it had 7x19 wheels that were too far in the arches, back arches were standard so going to cut them back and fit 20's at the back and 19's on the front - with a decent fit.
The rust isn't too bad really, a few plates here and there and then refit the kit and make a few adjustments here and there.
Strip the car to the shell (bar the dash) and bare metal, epoxy prime and then just rebuild.
Engine and box is coming out to paint the bay, obviously refreshing everything too
The below is where I'm at today.

The more I look at it the more I like it..
If the paint was all one colour and good wheels this car would look awesome.
Good luck with the build.

Thanks, I've found the wheels I want for it and the colour is going to be primarily one colour (i think - at the moment anyway!). It'll still be loud and over the top but I think it'll be decent when done.

Took the sunroof and all of the glass out yesterday, the glass was a right ball ache...
Also got it up on the lift, the underisde is in pretty good condition considering.

Brilliant car.
Disagree with Nitin, one colour would be boring and the current paint scheme looks fab, IMO!
Think I'd prefer there to be a heatshield between the exhaust and the fuel tank...
Definitely agree the current wheels aren't wide enough - definitely needs wider or more offset so they fill the arches.
The mass of mud build up on the top of the inside wings, shows precisely why arch liners are a good thing
