Out of interest, has anyone ever tried taking the insurance company through the small claims court? (Would probably take too long in practice but just initiating the process might be persuasive...?)
Or maybe the contracts that none of us read have us all stitched up to accept their judgement
(Or I guess the ombudsman maybe, but probably as much use as gentleman's sausage Cheney at a peace rally)
I think that's a good suggestion, Merc! Someone page @Tim@prestige

Which time? It got listed a second time, with some of the problems fixed, photographed at a different house with a higher price but what looked like the same seller? Did it sell after that?
EDIT: Oh yeah, found the second thread now http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/post154 ... ch#p154309

Right...after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, they've agreed it's worth a lot more...and that it's a rare car worth restoring it all now hinges on a geometry check!
The main issue that I've got is that they haven't moved it to the garage I want and I don't fully trust this lot....watch this space

Hope whoever fixes it does it right.
