Vtecmec's 4th Gen
Thanks guys.
There are a few other bits I am after if anyone has them, I have a wanted add here, but essentially I need the plastic loom cover that goes over the rocker cover and a 4th gen throttle cable (I have fitted a 5th gen one at the moment, but its a bit of a bodge).

OK, so I managed to cobble the car together for a grand day out at Silverstone for Japfest in early September. I think I finished some bits off at 10pm the night before the event and only managed to get a 10 mile test drive before setting off for the 1:45 hour journey. Nervous times.
Fortunately the car made it without incident, though there was an obvious boost leak and a weird partial throttle thing going on.
Met up with our very own @wurlycorner before entering.
The show was great, I've not been to any show other than JAE, and I think I enjoyed this much more, I'll be filling the calendar next year.
So when I got back home I went about searching for the boost leak, made my own tester which made finding a few dodgy coupling hoses easy.
Its basically a silicone hose combined with a tyre valve to hook the compressor up to, just pressurise and listen basically.
So onto the weird part throttle cruise thing, went for a cruise and put the data log on on Hondata, and on looking back later I (eventually) spotted that the ignition was completely static a 15 degrees. Seems that when I'd set the static timing, I'd turned the car off without putting it out of 'service' mode, which left the car stuck without the ability to alter timing. A reload of the map sorted this out.
Then I decided to get my ideal boost level ready. The spring that came with the actuator on the turbo was cited as 12-14 psi, which is a little high for my liking. I'm not after MAXPOWER, just OEM+ really.
So off I went and bought an aftermarket actuator that came with a variety of springs to interchange and suit my needs.
You can see the green spring fitted firstly, rated apparently at 7 PSI. I had read anecdotally that these springs are typically 50% underrated, but I thought I'd give it a try and see what it offered.
I saw 3 PSI, which is far less than I want really.
Eventually I settled on the black spring, which does show as 9 PSI on the gauge. Perfect.
Then I did a thing and picked up a set of TEIN Street Advance Z springs and shocks.
I already had the superstreets, but these were a deal, apparently a little comfier, and also a better fit for something else that I've been wanting to try out.
On the car:
What could possibly warrant new suspension when there really nothing wrong with whats already on the car you may ask?
Well, how about fully active suspension, automatically adjusting itself to driving conditions, speed and G Force?
Yes, I went out and bought the TEIN EDFS Active PRO system. Err, what? See the link, its pretty cool.

Currently I have it fitted, but not tested as the car is undergoing another mod which I'll show at a later date.
