Ta, we got as far as that last time round
I was wondering what the technical differences in the LSD itself are (any major differences in the way it works/what it does) and what the difference is in the way they drive?

Is it a torsen diff in all those 4 cars, or did Rover use different diff's in each of them?

Also (again, this is all for my interest tbh, nothing more!) do you have a pic of a 220 turbo box on the deck (i.e. not attached to an engine or in a car)? Intrigued to see what it looks like in comparison to an H-series box.

Hmmm...
First part of the puzzle, how a Torsen LSD works:

Second part is to find out how the LSD in a standard lude box works then so I can see what the differences are...
What make is the LSD in a lude box? @Merlin ?

EDIT: Ah... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited-slip_differential it seems that the Torsen LSD is similar to a Quaife LSD, therefore it should have an advantage over a standard lude LSD?

EDIT2: Ok, so it seems the standard lude LSD is a gear type LSD anyway? So there might not be any difference between the LSD in a rover LSD box and the lude LSD box???

The M2B4 is a viscous LSD. The ATR is a torsen gear type ;) I have no idea what the LSD out of an S-SPEC is.
